What areas can be treated?
Any area of your body can be treated. The most common areas are those most exposed to the damaging effects of the sun. The most popular treatment areas are the face, neck, chest or décolletage, back of hands and shoulders.
What will happen during the procedure?
Your eyes will be protected with safety shields. You will feel a warm "rubber band snap" with each pulse of light. The procedure will be a few minutes to a half an hour depending on the number of areas being treated.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments needed will vary from patient to patient. Your treatment plan will be tailored to the level of improvement you desire.
If you have recently tanned or been in the direct sun we cannot treat you. Our health care providers will help determine if you are eligible to receive a treatment during our comprehensive consultation process.
Am I a good candidate for BBL?
Some clients experience varying degrees of redness and swelling which is temporary and typically resolves within 24 hours. Pigmented lesions will darken and crust off within a week to 10 days. It is very important you avoid sun exposure after your treatment for at least 2 weeks and use an SPF of 30 daily.
