ReNew You Medical Spa Skin Rejuvenation

Hydrafacial

The HydraFacial MD is our most popular skin care procedure providing cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration allowing a way to pursue and maintain long-term skin health, which makes it more than your typical spa treatment.

We also use Vortex-Fusing antioxidants, peptides and hyaluronic acid into the skin for a healthy complexion. Boosters and upgrades can be added to enhance this treatment and improve skin health, addresses individual concerns, and creates a glow like no other. Unlike traditional facials, it’s performed via device rather than by hand, for deeper penetration and longer lasting results.

3 Steps to the Best Skin of Your Life

Every Hydrafacial treatment starts with three simple steps–from there, we’ll personalize the experience based on your skin goals.

1. Cleanse

  • Deeply cleanses and exfoliates with a gentle peel to uncover a new layer of skin.

2. Extract

  • Removes impurities from pores with painless gentle suction.

3. Hydrate

  • Saturates the skin’s surface with intense moisturizers and nourishing, personalized ingredients.

The HydraFacial is a treatment that is suitable for all skin tones and requires no downtime. In fact, your complexion will likely look better walking out the door.

Facials

What Is A Facial?

A facial is a family of skin care treatments for the face, including steam, exfoliation (physical and chemical), extraction, creams, lotions, facial masks, peels, and massage. Facials are used for general skin health as well as for specific skin conditions. A basic facial is a skin treatment that cleanses pores, exfoliates away dead skin cells, and treats common skin concerns with a custom mask. This multi-step process is meant to rejuvenate and nourish faces, making skin appear healthier and younger. It is also a popular spa treatment to pamper and relax, right up there with a massage.

What Happens During A Facial?

Each facial begins with a consultation that helps the aesthetician determine the right products for your skin type and concerns. Once that’s been determined, the relaxing part begins! Most basic facials include some version of the following five steps:

1. Cleansing

Aestheticians massage a cleanser into the face, neck, and décolletage to remove any traces of makeup and dirt. Using warm water paired with a facial sponge, cloth, or cotton pad, they remove the cleanser, dry faces, and evaluate skin. This step helps them determine what type of custom mask they will apply later.

2. Exfoliation

Depending on the spa you’re visiting, your aesthetician may buff away dead skin cells with an exfoliating cream or scrub and/or open up pores with steam.

3. Extractions

This process is done to clear individual pores that have become clogged with excess oil or dead skin cells, which can form blackheads and acne. Aestheticians will perform the extractions either by hand or with a special metal tool.

4. Massage

A facial typically also includes a massage of the face—and often the upper body, too—that may be used to improve lymphatic drainage.

5. Masks and more

Aestheticians then apply a custom mask, perhaps a clay-based one to treat oiliness or a hydrating one to combat dryness. The facial concludes with a serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen if it’s daytime.

Facials deeply cleanse skin and may help fight certain skin problems, such as mild acne or dryness. The treatments leave faces glowing and are typically very relaxing, as they include a massage component.

Regular facials can help improve skin texture and tone, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, unclog pores, prevent breakouts, boost hydration levels in the skin.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels can improve the skin’s appearance. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, which makes it “blister” and eventually peel off. The new skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.

Chemical peels can be done on the face, neck, or hands. They can be used to:

  • Reduce fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth
  • Treat wrinkles caused by sun damage and aging
  • Improve the appearance of mild scars
  • Treat certain types of acne
  • Reduce age spots, freckles, and dark patches (melasma) due to pregnancy or taking birth control pills
  • Improve the look and feel of skin
  • Areas of sun damage may improve after chemical peeling.

Good Candidates For a Chemical Peel
Generally, fair-skinned and light-haired patients are better candidates for chemical peels. If you have darker skin, you may also have good results, depending upon the type of problem being treated. But you also may be more likely to have an uneven skin tone after the procedure.

The Chemical Peel Process
The professional who does your peel will first clean your skin thoroughly. Then they will apply one or more chemical solutions — such as glycolic acid, trichloroacetic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid, or carbolic acid (phenol) — to small areas of your skin. That creates a controlled wound, letting new skin take its place.

During a chemical peel, most people feel a burning sensation that lasts about five to ten minutes, followed by a stinging sensation. Putting cool compresses on the skin may ease that stinging.

What To Expect After the Chemical Peel
Depending upon the type of chemical peel, a reaction similar to sunburn occurs following the procedure. Peeling usually involves redness followed by scaling that ends within three to seven days. Mild peels may be repeated at one to four-week intervals until you get the look you’re after.

Skin rejuvenation & firming with SkinTyte and Derm Perfexion Combination treatments!

Skin Rejuvenation, Derm Perfexion & Firming with a no-downtime, comfortable procedure that targets aging skin, texture laxity, wrinkles adn dull skin for complete skin rejuvenation on the face and neck or body.

What causes aging?

Some contributing factors that cause us to look older are sun exposure, smoking, diet and genetics. The damaging rays of the sun is the top reason for accelerated aging creating lines, laxity and texture irregularities. One of the most important factors in preventing premature aging of the skin is regular use of sunscreen.

Why choose SkinTyte?

In or 30’s our fibroblast cells that are responsible for producing collagen and elastin starts to really slow down and go “into retirement”.  This treatment encourages our cells to come out of “retirement” and start building collagen and elastin again.

Skintyte is an infrared technology that heats the deep dermal layer of the skin. This stimulates a thermal injury response in the body and the fibroblast cells start waking up and doing their job again. In over 30, 60 and 90 days there is a improvement in laxity and texture.

How can I accelerate my anti aging results?

Combination treatments are the gold standard for enhanced client and patient outcomes. The reason for this is there are typically multiple factors and skin concerns contributing to the way your skin looks and behaves. Combination treatments done the same day are able to target the treatment area with different mechanisms of action to provide superior accelerated results!

Why combine SkinTyte with Derm Perfexion?

This revolutionary product with an international patent combines hydrogen peroxide H2O2 and a high concentration of trichloroacetic acid-TCA for immediate and long-term improvements to the look of skin without any invasive measures, peeling or downtime. This skin rejuvenation treatment targets aging skin, texture, laxity, wrinkles and dull skin. Usually high concentrations of TCA cause significant downtime and avoidance of the sun. Because of this unique combination we are able to combine this treatment with a same day SkinTyte for further collagen stimulation.

How many treatments will I need?

SkinTyte for the Face, Neck and Body Shaping

SkinTyte is a revolutionary laser skin treatment that produces effective and convenient body shaping results in more perfect-looking skin. As part of non-surgical facial and body rejuvenation techniques, it’s going to produce results that you can see after just one treatment.

What is SkinTyte?

The SkinTyte procedure utilizes infrared energy to deeply heat dermal collagen.  The heat also initiates the body’s natural healing process, which creates a renewed collagen foundation leading to increased skin firmness. Powerful cooling maintains the outer surface of your skin at a cool temperature before, during, and after each pulse. This provides the patient a comfortable and safe procedure.  Safe and optimized for all skin types.  As a result, SkinTyte can predictably, effectively, and comfortably treat any area of the body where improvement is desired. Most importantly this results in a firmer and more youthful appearance.

What causes skin laxity?

  • Genetics and the natural aging process- As we age changes take place in the facial fat pads and bone causing the skin to sag, form folds and jowl. Additionally, our bodies produce less and less collagen as we age. Collagen production is essential for keeping our skin plump, firm and youthful.
  • Sun Exposure- The amount of UV exposure accumulated over a persons lifetime often contributes to the most damage to collagen and elastin fibers in the skins dermal layer. This contributes to accelerating sagging.
  • Pregnancy- Saggy postpartum skin typically presents around the breasts and abdomen, where the skin stretches during pregnancy.
  • Weight loss-Loose skin occurs as a result of major weight loss or constant weight loss and weight gain.

What type of downtime should I expect?

This is a non invasive treatment with no downtime. You may resume all normal activities immediately after.

How many treatments do I need?

We recommend a series of 6 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart. After your initial series consistency is key, we like adding on a SkinTyte to your regularly scheduled facials or quarterly ForeverYoung treatments to continue collagen production. Results are seen progressively over time as the collagen begins rebuilding and can last for up to two years.

What products do you recommend for skin laxity?

Your at home skin care routine is the one thing you can do everyday to improve the overall health and look of your skin. Consequently, an at home skin care routine will improve the outcome of your treatments. We recommend a dedicated skincare routine to include a sunscreen  applied daily to the face neck and chest, a retinol to help promote cell turnover and a specialty firming product such as revisions Nectifirm or BodiFirm.

How do I get started?

Weather you are looking for pre-juvenation to help delay and prevent the aging process or you are looking to correct mild to moderate skin laxity we require a consultation to ensure the treatment is the right path to meet your skin care goals.

Botox and Fillers for Skin Rejuvenation

Botox and filler serve as a powerful tool for skin rejuvenation and anti-aging.

Neurotoxins such as Botox and Dysport are injected strategically into targeted muscles to produce a temporary relaxation for roughly 3-4 months. Neurotoxins are FDA approved to treat forehead, frown, and crow’s feet lines. These lines and wrinkles can appear over years of repetitive facial expressions, exposure to the sun, lifestyle, and genetics. By relaxing muscle activity, our skin can relax, lift, and soften. Therefore, minimizing the appearance of superficial lines and preventing them from worsening. Dermal fillers are made up of hyaluronic acid in the form of a gel. Fillers can replace lost volume, fill folds, soften lines and replenish hydration.

A youthful face depends on having the right amount of facial fat in the right places, as well as healthy bone structure. With increasing age, changes take place in the facial fat pads and bone. When you combine fat loss and bone loss with exposure to the sun, lifestyle and genetics, signs of aging can be accelerated. Common signs of facial volume loss present as folds, heaviness, hollowing, and dehydration. Unlike Botox, which affects muscle activity to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and lines, dermal fillers are a gel that is injected beneath the skin’s surface to treat areas of concern. They are primarily used to reverse signs of aging, enhance facial features, and sculpt the face to restore youthful volume.
